Disney Trip Frequently Asked Questions
1. How many people will need to be in a room? To get the $925 price, you will need to have 4 people in a room. We will have a meeting where students and chaperones can pick groups.
2. How do rooms get assigned? Students will pick their roommates. However, there have to be 4 people in a room, so students may be broken up if they don't meet the 4 people requirement or pay for a 3 or less room. We will have a meeting where students and chaperones can pick groups.
3. What if there is an odd number of students? The WMS Band Boosters will take care of those situations.
4. I'm going as a chaperone. Can my child stay with me? Only a parent and a child can stay in the room together, so the parent/guardian will have to have a double room. We will have a meeting where students and chaperones can pick groups.
5. Will adults have to room together? To receive the $925 price, every room will have to have 4 people in it.
6. Which parks are we going to? We will be going to Hollywood Studios on Monday and EPCOT on Tuesday. Attached to EPCOT will be the workshop the students will be taking.
7. What is the final payment of $25 to the WMS Band Boosters for? The students will wear the same T-shirt on 2 days. The $25 will cover the cost of the 2 T-shirts.
8. Who can chaperone? An adult over the age of 20.
9. Can a chaperone take an extra child on the trip? Due to WCPSS policy, no extra children that are not part of the band program may go on the trip.
10. How do I register to be a WCPSS Volunteer so I can chaperone? Please visit https://myvolunteer.com/wcpss/volunteer/login, create an account, and register. The sooner you register to be a volunteer - the better!
11. Can I drive behind the charter bus? Due to the nature of this field trip, all participants must ride the bus.
12. What fundraisers are planned? There is a HWY 55 fundraiser in November and the Discount Card fundraiser in December. These monies will be applied the January payment. If you have an idea for a fundraiser, please join our WMS Band Booster meetings or email [email protected] to share your fundraiser idea.
